Moose
Moose
When I moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 2002, there weren’t many moose in the area. And, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, in records back to the 1850’s there were moose that wandered into Northern Colorado from Wyoming, but no known breeding population living in Colorado. Starting in 1978, moose were reintroduced into Colorado, and now there are plenty! Over the last 20 years in Steamboat the population has boomed and now we have moose in town regularly. Moose love swampy ponds in the mountains, and it’s always exciting to see one, especially munching on lily pads!
Moose is an original print on Rives BFK paper with black ink in a small edition of 20 prints. The image is 18 x 24 inches and the paper is 22 x 30 inches.
